For children on the Autism Spectrum, social skills may not come easily but, they are crucial to academic and emotional well-being. Children who face challenges with social learning need help and support, especially as they transition into a normal school environment. Our BCBA’s are highly trained in teaching social skills and incorporating social learning into individualized care plans.
We can help your child learn:
- Play skills
- Boundaries and social rules
- Friendship building
- Emotional regulation
- Problem-solving
- Conversation skills
Our first step is to assess how your child interacts socially so we can understand their existing skill set. Based on this assessment we will work with you to determine where they need to grow and what goals we should work towards.
